Communication

So you can study 12 hours straight, read 20 books in a week, pass every exam first-time……great! But can you host an interesting conversation with a stranger for an hour? Can you persuade a person to change to or at least consider a different point of view? Can you hold your head in a heated or aggressive argument without being intimidated?………Do you know how to communicate?

Building relationships, gaining trust,  teaching and providing comfort are the most important skills for a dentist to have and regardless of your theoretical knowledge you will never be successful without a strong ability in communicating to your patient.
